We're proud to announce that the champions at the 5th stage of Championship of Russia "Ulyanovsk Baja" are Ghetto athlete Jouni Ampuja and Markku Hurskainen!!! In overall ranking they took the first place!

Jouni Ampuja and Markku Hurskainen shares last final trip experience: „Today it was easier to drive, because approximately we remembered some parts of stages, for example, when its bumpy or straight or if there was a junction. I was just controlling the speed and hoped that we wont have a technical issues. But of course there where these issues and 30 km before the finish we had to change the tire. The only challange I was thinking about, it was that deep river. The depth of this river was approximately 1 m. And after the river I understood, that we will win, because we did our best!” All 3 stages of „Ulyanovska Baja” was the same route (191 km), which rally drivers needed to drive 3 times – 2 times yesterday in one direction and 1 time today – other direction.
